manga alizée

Read a great recounting of the tale of a mystery person that ordered a little manga drawing for purposes of tattoo, here.

Tokyobanhbao is the super talented source for the awesome tattoo of Annily that Alizée has. I visited the Tokyobanhbao site a few months ago because someone made the link between the style of the tattoo and the brilliant manga drawings by Tokyobibi (?) back then. It’s great to read that the speculation was not only accurate but that the tattoo was also custom commissioned by our mysterious french starlet herself, under pseudonym!

In honor of that transaction and in celebration of Annily’s birthday today Tokyobanhbao posted this great Manga illustration of her and Alizée together in the famous “we are the world” pose!

Great work! Too cute! XD

redefining contextual advertising

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

So some fans will know that Alizée used to express her love for strawberry sweets in the past (not sure if that still holds), one particular brand is even mention in “Abracadabra“. The brand mention in the song is Haribo Tagada.

So imagine my surprise while reading the article on Alizée’s meeting with NRJ 6/9 when I noticed the advertisement presented to me on the right hand of the screen.

I took a screengrab to show it to ya:

Great coincidence huh? Or is it? You be the judge ….

alizée fashion watch: striped shirt

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

We have seen a striped shirt pop up a few times, definitely part of “the look”:

M6 Interview, one on the train last night and also just visible in the reflection of the discs on the photo she posted on her blog, someone pointed that one out to me. There are more, none of which I can recall at this point. See there you go, a simple addition you can make to your wardrobe if you want to copy “the look”.
